Sounds just like my experience with the SDK form version 4.0 to the
present day :)

Well, they fixed this problem in FTK 5.0, but they also brought 10 times
harder-to-solve errors, which indeed prevented me from switching to FTK 5.0

Great idea for a workaround thanks i had assumed wrongly it would result
in a missing class chain reaction by doing that thank you for forcing me
to try it worked like a charm now i just have to hope i wont need it.
Thanks again

You don't have to change the header unless you need to use the class
declared in it. Instead, add this line before including the FTK:
#define _FXOPERATORCONNECTION_H
which effectively forces the contents of that header to be discarded...

After muting the millions of warnings that the XSI FTK produces in
Visual Studio 2005
#pragma warning( disable: 4100 4244 4511 4505 4005 4996 )
#include <SemanticLayer.h>
#include <SIILPICFileDriver.h>
#pragma warning( default: 4100 4244 4511 4505 4005 4996 )
i was left with one error, is there a workaround for the following
error, i did not want to wade into the SDK's headers and change
anything
with out an idea if it would damage things.
