Subject: FTK : char / wchar_t

is there a way to make the FTK work in wchar_t as char type my engine is
using wchar_t and wstring for all its string needs for obvious reasons,
and i am having to convert down to char to put anything into the FTK's
function arguments and convert up when things come out which is
irritating to say he least.

will redefining SI_Char as wchar_t do any damage?
