Title: Re: DS 7.6, the XW8200 and you
Elite is my (by far) most fav game of all time ... on ZX Spectrum though ... the C64 version was flickering too much.
I do remember using some sort of a paint app on C64 ... forgot what was it called ... Paint64 ... or something like that. 8-bit color and pixels the size of golf balls ... aaahhhh ... good times.

My C64 favorites were Archon, Impossible Mission and MULE.
How about in v8, DS Pong gets replaced by DS MULE. That would be the ultimate new feature to blow away the competition.

I loved my Commodore 64! I used to use one at the station I worked for to enter election information offline into Vidivote on our Vidifont Graphics V. And I we had a great time playing Oil Barons, too!

Hey!
I had a Commode Door 64 and it worked great. We actually thought we could do a lot with a Commodore!

OK, I admit I have oversimplified things a bit about computers. But my point was that there still seem to be many issues/conflicts and I had incorrectly assumed that they had been resolved with the move to DNA and more dedicated hardware. I stand corrected.
