Hmm. About all I ever used a Commodore 64 for was to use it to make scripts for a Chyron character generator (the cheapest one they made). Play games??!?! I always thought of computers as tools with which one could get one's work done. Ummm, I pirated software and all the games that used to be
available for the Commodore 64. Can't tell you how many 5 1/4" floppy
drives I burnt out. :-( Went by the alias Terminator64. If any
of you happened upon a bundled floppy with Lemmings, Robotron, Dig Dug, Mission
Impossible, Super Huey, Q Bert, Sargon III Chess, etc., that probably was
me..........(silence)
OK!!!
So much for my sorted past. Nice to see you back Rick.
We must catch up sometime. I'm hoping Rick v.2 is up and running with no
need for any stinkin' QFE's. Let's spend a weekend fishing, and I'll get
you up to date on all the wonderful things Avid has done to DS and share with
you some of the lovely acronyms I've come up with for Avid and it's proprietary
hardware. Turnkey indeed. The only thing turnkey about Avid is your
wallet.
Many regards and my sympathies for the FruitBox.
