Hi Tom,

I take in 48kHz BWFs regularly with no probs.  Now, mine are always 16 bit, but you should also be okay with 24 bit.  As an experiment, get the audio guy to give you a 16 bit file (you won't hear any difference and they'll be quite a bit smaller) and see how you get on.

If that still doesn't work, then there's something odd with the wav.
