Two ways seem to be viable:

1 - capture into some third-party app and export uncompressed DS-compatible files.

2 - transfer the tapes to a professional format such as HDCAM. There are a couple of hardware options for this, but I can't remember which one(s) is currently available.

Hey guys.

What's the best way to bring in hdv footage from the Sony z1 camera into DS? I unfortunately didn't read any of the posting in the week or so.

Thanks
