Hi Dylan,
If you want to keep it as vector strokes then you'll need to do the move
within graphics.
However, an alternative could be to create a large canvas by feeding the
graphics node with a zero alpha black source, DVE'd up to the largest size
you want, then enlarging the EPS within graphics to fill that canvas.
Ensure the EPS is drawing on RGBA. You can now DVE the image, use motion
blur, etc etc.
