Also, the great thing about the local and global transforms are the fact that if you have a separate DVE that made an element smaller, and you then use the transform to increase the size up, there is no loss of quality. The DS does the proper math. You will only lose quality if you go bigger than the original file size. This becomes very useful in tracking especially.

Definition for local and global transform: Build a composite tree with a
few layers, and each layer with a dve (scaled to maybe 40% and placed
arround the viewer), and apply a transform node to the local input. Make
a y rotation in the transform node and you'll see that each image will
circle arround it's own center point. Repeat with the transform node
hooked to nthe global input of the dve. Now all images will circle
arround one global center point.
