Jason,
here is answer to your second question from one of the developers, Edith Gosselin Picard:

By using the Shift Key when pressing on the Ripple Button, all tracks would automatically switch to Ripple On or Off.

Instant Feature. Hope it helps.

Hey all I'm back,

I survived my preliminary move to Baton Rouge (moving truck and wife to
follow). Still looking for a place to live but enjoying the new job.

Anyway got a couple questions already. We have two DSs here with 7.5
running on Equinox boxes and they seem to be a bit more buggy than I'm used
to.

First question. Why would we be having problems with realtime effects
needing to be rendered before the system will run "right". If we leave the
realtime effects (yellow) unrendered the system chokes and we get error
messages. I can't give you the error messages right now but if that's
necessary I can pass those along. Any ideas here just on my initial
description?

Plus one of the other new editors here (he has a background on AVIDs) had a
question I couldn't answer. Is there a way to turn all the Audio/Video
buttons on or off at the same time with one keystroke like you can on an
AVID? I'm refering to the buttons on the left side of the timeline that you
can turn off or on depending on where you want video or audio to be placed
on the timeline. Know what I mean?

Also is there a nudge option when controlling the DVE like there is in
graphics with the keypad? We want to move a DVE in small incriments without
manually typing in the numbers in the DVE.

Thanks in advance

Its good to be back. Rejoining the list was one of the first things I did
and now I know why...
