Make sure you get rid of all unnessesary notes in the edl list.

I am conforming a project created on FCP. I was given EDLs which seem
to transfer just fine to the DS (V6.1). The longest timeline is about
11:00. After happily chugging along for a few minutes it will just
freeze at the out of a clip. CTR-ALT-DEL does not work. The pen moves
