So what gives in the new framerate conversion for clips. If you can drag single clips from bins into a timeline with a different framerate, how come you can't drag whole sequences? In my workflow, until 7.6, I would copy all clips and attached effects to the clipboard. I would open my 24 frame cut and paste all of the clips and effects on to additional tracks. Once this was done all the media would link up if the source name and timecode matched. Sometimes the DS would freak when it encountered a clip looking for timecode beyond frame 24, but generally it was a very efficient workflow. Just create a 24fps edl and capture away. Once everything was captured, simply replace edit the 30fps clips with the correct 24fps clips. I tried the same process today and guess what? I got an error that the clips in the clipboard were a mismatch. Aaaaargh.

Does anyone have a similar workflow for ver 7.6? What are you guys doing when bins are given at 30fps and the cut is finishing at 24fps? I can't imagine copying and pasting presets from toolbars for thousands of effects and containers. If there is no other option I guess I could go back to 7.5

Thanks
