The question remains, Sylvain, how the preset – created in 7.6 QFE1 – becomes corrupt every time an effect is built. In my case, each time I started a new Graphic session, created a single text body with individual character opacity animations, saved the preset, processed the effect, and exited DS, the preset would not recall upon reloading the sequence. I finally ended up using an AfterEffects text animation instead (which, truthfully, looked better than what I had created). I smell a bug.

Thanks.   We do have QFE 1.   It does seem to help to start with new sequences and presets that have been “cleaned up” (meaning I’ve deleted the tree nodes that had crazy font replacement).    This only seemed to occur during my promo-tagging session where I was re-using lots of pre-7.6 sequences and lots of copy/paste of the tree effect with my various node choices.    I was able to go from 13 crashes yesterday to only 2 so far today.   I’m optimistic my trouble are behind me.

John is correct if you are using v7.6 without QFE 1.  But even with QFE 1 you can still get “titling style not found” if the Preset is corrupted or the project data was affected during the v7.5 to v7.6 data conversion (opening a v7.5 sequence in v7.6 IS a conversion).

When such titles pops this message, John is also correct that you might have to redo those affected.

Communicate with Support on the “titling style not found” problem – there’s a bug. You very well may have to recreate some of your titles – I did. What a pain.

I haven’t experienced any problems copying/pasting effects. Do any of them contain errant titles?

I’ve been experiencing frequent system freezes whenever I try and copy / paste effects from one clip to another in a timeline.  We recently upgraded to 7.6 on our Equinox.   I also noticed some previous-version graphic effects give a “titling style not found” error when I try and use them.    Do I have to re-create my graphic presets in 7.6?   Seems like I should be able to use ones I have saved in 7.5
