Can anyone else verify if the downconvert option in 24fps is not working? It works in all other HD framerates.
Also how is everyone handling conforms from a 30fps cut going to a 23.98fps timeline? What I am concerned with is transfering all of the effects from one cut to the other. Do you copy all of the effects to a toolbar and then apply them to the 23.98 cut? Is there another way to do this? Previous to version 7.6 I would copy all of the clips and effects to the clipboard and paste them to the 23.98 timeline. It doesn't work now and if I have to do the whole conform using the toolbar method, I'm looking at approximately 2 to 3 extra days of conform. Any answers out there?

Thanks

How does stuff like this make it through QA?  Or is there a QA department for DS?
Looks like the early adopters are beta and QA for Avid.   I could see this on a cheaper software/system, but shouldn't we all expect more for a system of this price and stature?

Sync-point editing with the Replace function got broken in 7.6 but should
have been fixed in QFE1 -- Download and install!  Or as a crutch, remove
your dissolves (if any), mark the clip on the timeline in-to-out, and use
Overwrite (and put back the dissolves).
