If you updated Version Info Extractor this week, you should be OK. If the AvidDS profile still does not show up, send us the CAB so we check it as well (on DS Support obviously).
The F:\ turning red is normal because you got under 10% drive space and it is a warning for low disk space. :)
Lower LHAL is software communication failure with the hardware layer. Did you restart the workstation and power cycle the Nitris?

i think it may be the ati profile. even though i set
it it didnt show in the version extractor.
going to un/reinstall ati drivers next
then clean up some space on the f drive which is too
full and holds the swap file
