Jef, just go to your system32 folder and right click
on AvidAVd1Codec.qtx, choose properties and under the
version tab you'll be able to read: Avid DVCPro HD
Component.
To avoid paying royalties to Panasonic, Avid renamed
it DV100.
As for your file, I don't know how it was created, but
you should be able to open it.
