Rewind the tape.
Powercycle the VTR and hold the eject button on power up.

Digitizing from a betasp tape inside my
DVWA500
I go to eject the tape. The front panel buttons is frozen. I can't
use any of the buttons.
I DOUBLE CHECK THE KEY INHIBIT BUTTON,
to make sure I did not accidentally hit it. Nothing wrong, the KEY
INHIBIT IS OFF.
Remote is disabled.
I check everything, I was the only
person around, Nobody touched my machine 2 minutes earlier. The
only way I can use the Dbeta machine is through a remote. from another
machine or the DS.
Any clues? Has the microprocessor that
controls the front panels bit the dust.
