Hey list,
After accessing a project in a folder I created to save Old Projects
in (not archived correcctly, I know) I received the following when trying
to go back to the project I was working on...in fact all projects in my
DS6.1 projects folder are inaccessible. My temporary work around is
to open a new project in another folder and import all clips and
sequences to that project. Thanks in advance

This is just a windows share problem -- you have more than one share on your root DS Projects folder, or you have a share nested inside. Quit DS, and in Explorer go to your project drive and right-click the projects folder, select Properties, and go to the Sharing tab. Under the Share Name make sure there is only one thing there. Then go inside the folder and look for any other folders with the hand icon under them (which means they too are shared). Follow the same procedure as above to get their properties, but set them to "Do not share this folder".

Finally restart DS and do "Add Project Root" and select the main DS Projects folder.

If you want to keep two folders of projects separately, put them out on the same level as each other, rather than inside one another.
