I personally am fine with the red light, but it would be hugely useful to have a "media Unavailable" warning, or something akin to "offline color" in MC so that when you are missing one frame at the tail of an extended cut, your clip changes color or a seperate color on the grey bar above the timeline. That's screwed me before, though I caught it before tech review. How does that stuff pass when things like "that tiny yellow post-it in the corner of the frame is out of gamut for two frames" will get you rejected?

Hi Loretta,
Until we get that, there's always that bright red "led" next to the Ripple button.

ps - as for "Needs Processing" going out on air I saw a documentary go out on Sky a few weeks back with "Media Unavailable" in three different places. How did THAT get through tech review?

Hi, Everyone,
I understand that this is something that others have asked for but it won't hurt to ask again.
It would be nice to have an error message if you have unprocessed scenes when you output to tape.
I noticed on a Friday night newscast that they could have used it, too. There it was, as bright as day..."Needs Processing". Ouch.
