I thoroughly grilled the Sony rep about XDCAM HD and he said several
interesting things:
The price for the camera will be about the same as for the XDCAM SD
It will use 1/3" or 1/2" target chips
It will work at 4:2:2, full 1920x1080
It will use the same style media with back compatibility as the XDCAM
What have you folks heard or seen concerning the XD/HD format? I know
some of you have used XDCAM.
