Aleks,

Colorvision do the Spyder range for calibrating various types of monitor,
and to be fair to the Sony guys a CRT is always better than an LCD for
picture quality.

Cheers

Subject: Monitor Calibration

Would anyone know how to properly calibrate the LCD monitors of the
DS. Our HP XW8000 came in with 2 LCD Flat Panel Monitor L1925.
Whenever I reset them to factory settings, still the colors vary.
The left monitor seems to be more correct than that of the right,
which has the source and record monitors of the DS.

Another query is: How do I calibrate an Sony LCD monitor. The Sony
guys are telling me that I should use a BVM or PVM monitor so that I
could get the proper calibration. But of course, they're just
telling me to buy one of their products which I don't have the money
for. Is there an instrument to calibrate LCD monitors. Please
help. Thanks in advance.

Aleks
