I think you're living a charmed life, Tone! :-)
I almost always have to process "yellow bar" effects even with RT Depth set to 1.
Maybe it's because I work in NTSC as opposed to PAL and have those extra 4.97 frames/sec. to deal with.

Hmnm, I always set my sequence prefs for RT Depth = 1 prior to playout.

Never had to process a yellow bar with that setting - ever.
