All,
We do mostly 60
minute weekly broadcast programs and started on DS Nitris in April of this
year. When previously editing on MC, we used 2:1 compression to save drive
space, and it looked fine. Since joining the DS world, we've only operated
uncompressed. I'm considering switching to 2:1, however, I've heard that
there have been problems in the past regarding compression in DS. The
forum archives don't seem to have a recent discussion on the topic. Could
I get some insight from you all regarding the current "goods, bads, and uglies"
regarding using compression -- especially 2:1.
