Good question. I didn't know about it until today, either.
The support site says July 2005, but not a specific date. I just
looked today and noticed it (rare day for maintenance, so it was a
pleasant surprise).

I installed 7.6 QFE 2 this afternoon and to celebrate I thought I
would share these icons I made for the Windows XP login screen.
I got to thinking that the purple Avid icon on the Windows XP login
screen was quite ugly and needed a replacement. So, I "borrowed" the
DS icon from the DS Warrior artwork that made its way around the list
a couple months back. Me likey. :-)
