Yep,

The opacity was what I was looking for, thanks for all the quick
replies. The heat must be getting to me - I got focused on trying to
resolve it one way and couldn't see the obvious.

Our AC did go down today for a couple of hours. Computers really act
squirrely when they start to overheat! Had to shut everything down and
let things cool off. Back to normal now.

Hi Jeff,

It'd almost be easier if you did each separate on it's own clip and
then
hit the graphics fade in and out build.  This requires a lot of copy
and
paste but moves quickly.

The other option is to key frame the fade in and out manually within
the
session you've created - much more time consuming but sometime useful
depending on the effect you want to achieve.
