Title: Quicktime Posting
Hello all,
Sorry for the slightly off-topic, I’m having problems with our posting work flow. Currently we output Sorenson QTs that then get compressed to 400 x 300 and put up on the website. We do this because the encoding software in on a mac. The problem is I can’t seem to find a way to export out of the DS without the fields. I know I can Defield before output to file, but I’d like to avoid the time that takes. We use both Squeeze and Cleaner, but every de-interlace option still creates a QT with the fields present.
Is there a way to export a single field QT, and I’m just missing a setting? Does anyone know what DS is doing to the QT so that the encoding software cant de-interlace? I assume it’s merging the fields as it makes the QT.
