Hi all, Question regarding safe action. Our new monitors
show us just about the whole image from the DS, about half the distance from
the safe action and the actual edge. Our old monitors showed only up to the
safe action point. I am told that there are some tv`s now that show more than
the safe action area. I need to know if this is true or an assumption made by
some. I am referring to NTSC 4X3. I was going to ask if they ( our techies )
could recalibrate the tv to show us less of the image because the directors
like to see what will be seen by the viewer, but if new tv`s do indeed show
more than safe action, then there is no point. Thanks.
