Don't be sorry for complaining.  And you're not the only one.  Those like myself grew weary of complaining to Avid long before you joined this list.  It's like pissing in the ocean.  We were spoon fed workarounds for features that by all rights should be in the box but are not.  I will reiterate, Avid does not care to accommodate it's end users, but use them to beta test hardware and software for their own greedy purpose.  We have reinvented ourselves time and time again in this industry, learning and mastering the tools that we needed to survive and succeed at the time.  We will continue to do so long after DS, and perhaps Avid, is long gone.
