Sean,

If the deck is fitted with the pull down
board(HKDV-507)then you will get the 1080i converted
signal on the PD OUTPUT(separate spigot), with
embedded audio and converted VITC(29.97).
Keep in mind this things:
1)For this setup to work, System frequency has to be
set at 23.98 and not 24
2)Consistent cadence requires both Tri Level and NTSC
reference to the deck
3)A frames are located at 00 and 05 countframes
4)Analog audio and LTC output  are 2 frames advanced
from the PD OUTPUT
5)RS422 can be set to carry the converted TC(24>30),
so you can use a 1080i deck template, with the
corresponding 2 frames offset
