Weird. I do it all the time. The everyday kind of "all the time". Are you including a slate and bars at all? You might be getting near the file size limit (2 GB) if your are doing uncompressed. I might try encoding it someway - pick a codec or whatever the client wants.

However after trying 6 different versions of the AVI output (full VGA, half VGA, frame ignored etc.) I couldn't get a file that would work. 1st off the audio was just loud pulsating static (audio mixer was in stereo and only one channel) and then the video appeared as one field half way in to the frame...

I was able to output AVI fine until upgrading to 7.6... Something I'm missing here??
