Just run this by the DS Gurus in case they have a useful input.
Am testing the Miranda HDV-Connect box and have an issue with the DS.
The box will happily talk to an Avid Adrenaline system via RS422 with the Avid auto configuring and controlling the deck pretty much as expected.
But when connect to the DS and clicking check nothing happens. The deck is not seen and no control is possible.
Miranda are investigating this but maybe Avid has an idea of how the Adrenaline differs from the DS in terms of RS422 deck control.
Keen to resolve this as there is a growing demand for HDV into our DS.
