"Ok then......"

Hi Jim,
Assuming that this is true and you've not just gone mad, and bearing
in mind that audio can't travel faster than the speed of sound (sorry)
we must actually be talking about a video delay here. For audio to be
in advance of video means that the video must have been delayed.
So.... is the video going through a router of any kind? Does that
router have a delay? Can you try plugging the VTR direct into the
Nitris box?
Once you have the two (audio & video) in sync, then the bias controls
can get it where you need to be. But the priority is to firstly get
the two into sync.
Good luck,
Tone :)

I hope I can set an offset in the DVWA Menues to deal with this.
DS's Play and Record Bias don't seem to be what is needed
and Audio Propagation Delay did not seem to be the trick either.
When I go to tape I am getting audio layed down 1fr early. Using a
Ctdwn slate to test.
when recapturing the same test clip the offset is now an additional
3frames early, ending up
-4fr offset audio to pix on a richochette.
any ideas here..
Picture locks to time code perfectly.
Audio is the problem.
I tried a ( 1 ) in Audio Propagation Delay on output, no diff, still
-1fr from picture.
can I set an audio advance of +1 to the deck audio on record and a +3
Deck audio out on playback..?
Not sure when or how this started.
ergghh
any insight will be helpfull.
