Thanks Jim,

The last thread on this never addressed if anyone was using ref avi. We have an email into Sorenson about this issue, I’ll let you know what they say. Neither QT or AVI worked for me. I haven’t installed Squeeze locally to see if it just doesn’t like it over the network.

our sqze 4 is a bit crashy and/or unstable on Ref movies.
Avi or Quicktime

It likes them best when not running them over the GigE network.
Seems to prefer Qt's more often.

I could try and do some tests with ours tomorrow
