I would add an effects tree as a clip effect, feed each graphic into a composite node on its own layer, and add a cache node after each one, then if you change one, or even 2, you don’t have to render all of them.  Also, I think rendering complete instead of minimal will do what you want, as long as you only change the top graphic.  Your way about making a container with 3 and clip effect for 1 would work also.  There are many ways to accomplish this.  That is what I love about DS.  You can do it the way you like best.

If I have 4 clip effects (all graphic 2D titles) stacked on a clip and rendered, and I change the top clip effect, does the DS need to re-render all 4 clip effects or just the top one that was changed?

Am I better off making a container with the clip and 3 consistant graphic clip effects and adding the graphic that gets changed on top of the container?
