I think Sorenson might like the .mov ending better than .qt - this can be decided when creating a qt ref.
Good luck

Thanks Jim,

The last thread on this never addressed if anyone was using ref avi. We have an email into Sorenson about this issue, I’ll let you know what they say. Neither QT or AVI worked for me. I haven’t installed Squeeze locally to see if it just doesn’t like it over the network.

Thanks,

Troy

our sqze 4 is a bit crashy and/or unstable on Ref movies. Avi or Quicktime

It likes them best when not running them over the GigE network.
Seems to prefer Qt's more often.

I could try and do some tests with ours tomorrow

        REV AVI and Squeeze Hello,

Is anyone using reference AVIs with Sorenson Squeeze? I though
I’d done this in the past but all I get is white discolored
frames when creating QuickTimes in Sorenson. I’m using Squeeze
on the RP and the ref codec is installed.

        Thanks,

        Troy
