This didn't work for me as it wouldn't let me drag the reference sequence
over to the SD timeline (mentioned in previous email but can't remember
the issue right off hand and DS is down with Unity issues again).

Ah. The framerate of the 'donor' sequence has to match that of the one you're dragging it into - otherwise, you'll need to go the export/import route (as reference movie or what-have-you). Particularly from 23.98 to 29.97; you can import and tell it to NOT change the framerate, and then apply a 3:2 expand.


It's not ideal, but it's a workaround.
