archive restore q

When I move a project from DS A to DS B via an archive and restore, the newly restored projects shows up in the project root as:

   DS_v7.6\xxxx

rather than just:

   xxxx

Is this the way it has to be? I would like to not have the DS_v7.6\ prefix.

And once this has already happen, can I rename the project (I remember a thread on this before).
