EDL's and Tape Sifting

    I'm using a Nitris (version7.5) to do a SD offline edit that will later 
be turned into HD on another Nitris system.  To complicate things, a company 
called Filmlook will be doing the color correction to all of the HD footage 
(before going to the final Nitris).  To color correct the shots, they will 
be using EDL's from my system.  Here are some issues that I am dealing with 
(and I'm hoping you guys will have some suggestions for me -- you always do 
and I appreciate it greatly):

1.  I printed out an EDL today from the Nitris.  Under the source column, 
many of the tapes are listed with an under score character in them (_).  
Naturally, none of the tapes I digitized had under-score characters in them. 
 Instead, I used all letters and numbers (for example I typed CHD1165 and 
in my EDL list, I get something like CHD1_1).  Why is this?

    This will be a big problem for filmlook to find these tapes, as the 
underscore character deletes tape name info.  We did know that the EDL would 
likely not show every long tape name I typed in, but we were hoping to get 
at least the first 6 characters (NOT an under score (_) character taking up 
some of that info.  Any suggestions?

2.  My client needs all of the source clips used in our timeline to be from 
non drop framed sources.  He wants me to tell him which shots (used in our 
timeline) were from drop frame tapes.  We are talking about just a handful 
of drop frame shots that we used that just need to be re inserted again 
after they have been transferred to non drop frame tapes (meaning the drop 
frame clips were just place holders).  Is there a way for me to find these 
shots?  Any special views or ways of sorting what's been used in the 
timeline with info like:  clip name, source tape name, time code ins and 
outs (used in the sequence) and drop frame vs non drop frame info?  This is 
a tall order I know, but it's an hour long show and we are trying to prevent 
us from having to go through the entire show and click on the clips and pull 
up the clip property info.  Any ideas?
