I have been using AVTransfer to consolidate the OMF from DS. Sad that a utility made by Fairlight will export an OMF along with a ProTools project better than the DS.

Possible work around - make your audio edits in another sequence, at the proper length; export the edited audio as a file; import the file - use that for your OMF. OF course this makes any changes a total PITA.

Agree though the bug should be fixed...

Sylvain - this bug has existed for years - the DS does not consolidate audio
from file sources. A simple :60 spot can easily have an omf export of 300
megs. It is quite rediculous that this STILL has not been fixed.

Is there enough free space on the drive (partition) where the DS audio
resides?

I tried an OMF export from a 32 minutes sequence (very few audio effects
admitedly) and it works, with and without embedded audio.

Using Avid DS v7.6 QFE 2a.

Trying to export omf's for a 7 minute segment, keeps crapping out with
error regarding disk space. There are 150 gigs free on the drive I am
exporting to. Anybody know what could be wrong, I have exported way
longer omf's before.
