Regarding the various components that all dance in sync to make DS
work. I have a few odd questions.
Let's just say that all the cards ( Studio Z, Fire GL, Keops ) die.
What is the bare minimum
that I would need to run DS on any PC with my dongle, for the sole purpose
of opening old projects to extract / export EDL's to salvage/import to another (
non DS ) edit system.
Do all the drivers need to be in place etc?
Also, if in fact I have diligently archived ALL of my old projects at ver
3.01, will a Ver 6. on up
open the old projects?
Just beginnng to prepare for the inevitable.
