Hi everyone. Is there any way to make a matte based on a clip's hue with variable softness as the hue changes into a different colour? For instance, I might want to select cyan as pure white in the matte and have all the a full range of greys up until I hit green and blue either side of cyan in the hue wheel. The HSL keyer seems to key largely "on or off" despite it's softness control.
I can't seem to work out how to do it using colour channels and different composite modes. I can make a matte based on strength of R, G or B but not purely on hue, irrespective of intensity.
Thanks for any ideas,
John
