This is the first time that I've archived anything to tape.  I have a 10 second spot with 10 layers.  720p 59.94.  Can I archive to a DVCPro  AJ HD1200a?  Is there anything I should look out for to assure a good archive?

TIA

KEN
Hi Ken,

I archived to an AJ HD1700 with the same format and frame rate a while back without any problems and it restored just fine even though the entire edit suite moved to a different site.  I can't see why you would have any problems with a 1200a.  One thing I like to do, though painstaking, is make sure your stock is entirely striped before archiving, but that's a personal preference.

Sean
