Hi Ken,
I archived to an AJ HD1700 with the same format and frame rate a
while back without any problems and it restored just fine even though the entire
edit suite moved to a different site. I can't see why you would have any
problems with a 1200a. One thing I like to do, though painstaking, is make
sure your stock is entirely striped before archiving, but that's a personal
preference.
