HP BIOS IN XP

Subject : HP BIOS IN XP

Is there a way to check BIOS settings (specifically the 100MHZ PCI setting)
when the computer is running? I'm having repeated problems with freezes
resetting the BIOS and reboots sometimes clear the BIOS so I'd like to be
able to check when I'm running...

BTW - replacing battery and all as per HP support with no joy...
