Subject : Container behavior for multiple clips
Friday greetings...

I have a question of....
is this a preference setting I am missing, or just a behavior.

When I lasso several clips on mutliple video tracks and make a container out of them
the bottom track that may have 8 clips back to back on the original timeline is
tucked into a container of its' own on the bottom track of this new container.

I often go into that bottom container, copy all the clips, delete the container above and repaste the clips
so i have them discreet on the bottom video track of the master container.
Can this be avoided by a preference somewhere.

I gather ds is doing this to reduce the load on the container by sub-containerizing the clips, but
"I'd prefer not too" (quote from Bartleby the Scrivner), oh.. | ds 7.01 qfe3

Thanks...
friday on.,...

j
