My wish list for work on the deck control would have to be:
An option in the deck template to allow an increased tolerance for slow deck
response.(or just a bigger tolerance anyway).
The ability to change the currently greyed out option in the capture tool
that allows the selection of LTC or VITC for timecode source. (does the deck
template option actually feed through?)
The option to select timecode or Control track for preroll.
And the biggy. To actually read the timecode at the start of capture rather
than at the start of preroll run in as it currently does.
Would be nice if it could monitor TC continuously and warn/drop out of
capture if a present tolerance is exceeded.
For an example of most of the above please speak to Avid about Media
Composer deck control.
Oh and while on wish lists I oh so would love to have a real console like
MC.
I know theres the Scripting window that shows commands but a real console
that feeds back on internal processes would greatly aid troubleshooting.
Oh well back to the real work. Now to try and find out why my open GL isn't
working as it should.
