Take a node of your choice (Composite node is good because it can have as
many controls as you want) and use it as the control node for all your
expressions. You don't connect it to any other nodes using its inputs our
output, just use the sliders to drive other parameters through
expressions.
Hmmm, thats a good idea -- I guess the composite node is about as generic as
it gets! I was trying to think of another effect with a pretty borring
property panel and Composite never even occured to me!
