If all fails you can write a macro in Microsoft Word to renumber the events in sequential order.
A better way may be to reimport that EDL into the DS and then export it again. Maybe that will do it.

I am using a Nitris. I need to give an CMX 3600 EDL file to an IQ Editor for upconverting. The file I gave him has over 1000 events and he says that he can't go over 999. When looking at my edl, I see that there are over 1000 events, but this is only because my event numbers occasionally jump (it goes from event 0004 to 0006 for example). How can I make an EDL for the IQ with event numbers that don't jump? My timeline is only made up of 1 video track -- VIDEO ONLY.
Thanks.
Jason
