I had just posted and didn't see this thread (too busy working to read through the whole list) Here is what I have found while trying to use Stage tools in DS:

Stage tools' " Moving Pictures" Although it conforms into DS It is real buggy (example: random flashing color lines on the outer edges of the moving image.) and requires addition tweaking in it's custom interface which has very very limited controls and seems to love crashing the system as often as it can."
