Have a look at EDL processor available on the Soft site somewhere? like utilities.

It is a really useful little app and does all sorts of great stuff like copying record to source TCs etc.

Under processing options (The red P) there is the ability to renumber the events which should take out the jumps for you.

Good luck

Tim

I am using a Nitris. I need to give an CMX 3600 EDL file to an IQ
Editor for upconverting. The file I gave him has over 1000 events and he
says that he can't go over 999. When looking at my edl, I see that there
are over 1000 events, but this is only because my event numbers occasionally
jump (it goes from event 0004 to 0006 for example). How can I make an EDL
for the IQ with event numbers that don't jump? My timeline is only made up
of 1 video track -- VIDEO ONLY.
Thanks.
Jason
