Yeah, they want you to call them, but they are real friendly and
low-pressure. I imagine you could easily get a quote via email or, if
you're feeling flush, a phone call to Miami.
My memory is foggy of the last time I got a quote, so these figures are
at best unreliable. The full version of ScheduAll starts pretty high, I
think - around US$10k plus or minus a couple thousand, with additional
cost for additional modules. Edge - which only handles a few users -
starts bare-bones in the US$2000 range, I think, with additional modules
available.
But please contact the company for more reliable information.

Hi again John - seeing as how the web site studiously avoids talking
cost -
any idea how much?
Cheers,
Tone :)

He might still be able to use ScheduAll (latching onto the "all" portion
of the name) but simply customize the list of assets. He doesn't have to
use whatever template items such as decks, tapes, etc. Packages of
assets - camera package with lighting, without lighting, two camera
package, or whatever industry he's in - could use the function of
ScheduAll with which edit suites with specific equipment compliments are
scheduled.
There's a lower-end version of ScheduAll available, called Edge, upon
which different modules can be added.

Subject: OT - Software requirement
Hi all,
A friend of mine is setting up a business where he'll have a number of
assets available for hire. These assets might be products or people.
He
needs some software that will:
1. Enable him to schedule the rental of his assets
2. Prepare and print invoices to his customers for the hire of
said assets
3. Allow him to set different rates for the different assets
4. Allow him to set different rates/discounts for different
customers
Lastly, he's not particularly computer literate so it needs to be simple
to
understand and use.
Can anyone recommend a good package? I know that ScheduAll is often
recommended on this list for facilities management, but his activities
have
nothing to do with our business.
Cheers,
Tone :)
