We use Alter Media's Studio Suite. It is fairly cheap to get into for one
or two users and then can be scaled up for more users when needed. Joel the
designer can also help customize it for not too much........K

seats + File Maker for each seat. I have mine running with File Maker
Server (suggested for more than two or 3 users - additional cost) on it's
own Mac Mini.

A friend of mine is setting up a business where he'll have a number of
assets available for hire. These assets might be products or people. He
needs some software that will:
1. Enable him to schedule the rental of his assets
2. Prepare and print invoices to his customers for the hire of said assets
3. Allow him to set different rates for the different assets
4. Allow him to set different rates/discounts for different customers
Lastly, he's not particularly computer literate so it needs to be simple to
understand and use.
Can anyone recommend a good package? I know that ScheduAll is often
recommended on this list for facilities management, but his activities have
nothing to do with our business.
